CommsFM Sponsors of New Start Scotland...

The CommsFM Team had a fantastic couple of days at the SECC. We were there bright and early the day before the event kicked off to get organised! As well as being filmed by the Daybreak Team to appear on the Scottish Regional News, we met an amazing bunch of people with some phenomenal ideas for new businesses!  We hope that those who attended the event enjoyed it as much as we did!

We were especially honoured to be asked to judge the Bright Business Competition! 

Bright Business Competition...

New Start Scotland invited new business owners to pitch their business idea to a panel of judges to win £5000 cash and up to £30,000 in support services and products.

The winner of the competition was Peter McNally of Goldcrest Engineering. Peter is an engineer who came up with a fantastic invention when he was trapped 2 miles underground in a mine in Norway in 2000. Look out for his story in the Scottish News!
